212 leads round for Hemenkiralik.com
212 Ltd has led a funding round for Turkish online accommodation site Hemenkiralik.com.
The round includes co-investment from businessmen Teruhide Sato and Fahri Diner, done on a private individual basis.
The investor made the capital injection through 212 Capital Partners, a venture fund that held a first close in December 2011. The GP backs early-stage internet and technology firms with initial investments of $250,000-1m and up to $5m in follow-on rounds. The deal is the sixth completed by the Turkish GP, following a capital injection into CloudArena in April.
