ZAO Tascom (Russia) - Jan 2008
In 2004, Norum invested in Bester Investments, which wholly owns Tascom. The investment allowed Tascom to triple its client’s base within three years, securing a position from which the company was able to seek a new financial sponsor. It then approached Quadriga.
Company
Based in Moscow, Tascom provides telecommunication services to Moscow Oblast, operating a wireless access broadband network that provides internet access and telephony. The new capital will be used to expand into other oblasts, realise additional infrastructure build-ups and launch new services for Tascom’s corporate and small business clients.
People
Michael Katsnelson led the transaction for Quadriga and Alberto Morandi for Norum.
