DVC cooperation with BrainsToVentures

Deutsche Venture Capital (DVC) has entered a comprehensive cooperation agreement with St Gallen and Munich based business angels network BrainsToVentures AG. The venture capital firm hopes to strengthen its ability to network within the market and to be able to access the seed investor base in Central Europe. The cooperation was signed in January 2003 but will be officially launched on 5 March 2003 in Zurich. In 2002 DVC invested around EUR 13.8m in eleven companies, of which two, Avontec (October 2002, page 19) and SiREEN (November/December 2002, page 22), were first rounds and the rest follow-on rounds.
