Dataciders sponsor Auctus mulls sale via Houlihan Lokey
AUCTUS Capital Partners is exploring a sale of German IT services group Dataciders, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The Munich-headquartered private equity fund has appointed advisors at Houlihan Lokey to explore sale options for the IT services company which specialises in data management and analytics, two sources said.
Dataciders, which was renamed from QuinScape Group in July this year, generates EBITDA in the region of EUR 10m-EUR 15m, two sources said. The company generates around EUR 60m revenue, according to its website.
The Dortmund-headquartered group is made up of six subsidiaries - QuinScape, IXTO, SD&C, InMediasP, cth and cantenate - and employs over 500 across seven locations in Germany, according to its website.
AUCTUS, which generally acquires majority stakes in small and medium-sized businesses across DACH, made an investment into QuinScape in 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
Houlihan Lokey declined to comment. AUCTUS and Dataciders did not respond to requests for comments.
