
New fund targets media and entertainment sector

With a planned financial volume amounting to around Euro 150m, the fund is directed towards institutional investors.
Investments
Investments will concentrate on content-driven companies in the media and entertainment sector such as those in the TV, film, music, entertainment software and interactive media fields. The fund will concentrate on taking minority interests in companies that have already completed their start-up stage and whose business models have demonstrated proof of concept. Although the fund will concentrate on Europe, especially Germany, discretionary investments in the US market will also be considered. It is understood that the fund will support around 30 companies during its life with an average investment of Euro 5m.
