IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft ups the pace
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is seeking to reinforce its venture capital activities following a successful Euro 50m capital increase. According to Bernd-Peter Morgenroth, chairman of the company's supervisory board, the group is expecting to make some 15 further investments in the coming year. IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft has been operating since 1997 and currently has interests in some 45 high-technology companies. In 2000 the group made a total of 15 new investments and increased its staff numbers from six to 16. At present the group's portfolio includes investments in the automation (37%), ICT (45%) and life science sectors (18%).
