Ashurst
In a further shake-up of its German practice following last year's request to two partners to step down, Ashurst has appointed UK private equity specialist Simon Beddow to be the new head in Germany. Succeeding corporate partner Hermann Schlindwein, Beddow will take up the position in March and will be based in Frankfurt. Schlindwein is to return to client work, though will act as office head for Frankfurt. Meanwhile corporate partner Andrew Edge, who has been in the Frankfurt office for three years, will return to London.
