M Cap Finance Deutsche Mezzanine
M Cap Finance Deutsche Mezzanine was recently founded with Dietmar Westermann and Dr Frank Golland as senior partners. Prior to founding M Cap Finance Deutsche Mezzanine, Westermann was director of investment banking at Merill Lynch Inc in Frankfurt. Before, he was regional director of corporate banking in Europe and senior director in Frankfurt for Bank of Scotland. In addition, he was CFO for corporate banking at Bank of Scotland in Amsterdam and Paris. Also, Westermann held different senior corporate finance positions at Deutsche Handelsbank AG, Nippon Credit Bank and BfG Bank AG in Germany and in London. Golland was partner and head of private equity at KPMG Corporate Finance in Frankfurt. Before, he worked for WestLB where he was director for mezzanine and equity finance investments. At the same time, he was managing director of the investment division of WestLB, Equity and Mezzanine Solutions. Prior to this, Golland worked for the Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Group as manager in BdW (Beteiligungsgesellschaft der deutschen Wirtschaft). Lars Gehlhaar has also joined the management team of M Cap Finance Deutsche Mezzanine as partner. Formerly, he was team head for private equity at KPMG Corporate Finance in Frankfurt. Prior to this, Gehlhaar held different positions in the Mannesmann group in Germany and abroad. Last, he worked in corporate development of the associated Vallourec group in Paris, where he was involved in several international acquisitions and disposals as well as management buyouts. Prior to his career abroad, he worked in corporate controlling and group accounting in Düsseldorf and Mülheim an der Ruhr.
