Royal Bank of Scotland
The Royal Bank of Scotland Financial Markets (RBS) has appointed Roland Hinterkoerner as head of corporate origination for Germany and Austria in its Capital Markets division. Hinterkoerner joins RBS from BNP Paribas, where he worked for the last three years in a similar role. Prior to that, he worked for UBS and Deutsche Bank. Hinterkoerner will be responsible for developing RBS's corporate debt capital markets franchise in Germany and Austria. He will report to Rob Jolliffe, global head of Primary Markets Origination in Capital Markets, and will be based in London. He will take up his full responsibilities once registration with the FSA has been completed.
