equitrust set to buy Fortknox-Venture
Hamburg-based equitrust AG is set to acquire Cologne-based venture capital fund Fortknox-Venture AG. Fortknox was founded in 1999 and has invested some E27.7m in its portfolio from institutional monies and proceeds. equitrust will pay with own shares that are to be issued as part of a capital increase. The general assembly of equitrust is to decide on the issue at the end of November 2003. The Fortknox portfolio of currently eight investments will be used to expand the investors own network and to complement the equitrust portfolio.
