The total deal value was EUR 850,000.CompanySomic GmbH & Co KG was founded 28 years ago and makes a turnover of EUR 10m, of which some 40% originates in the company’s non-German sales. Somic develops specialist packaging and processing machinery for cardboard boxes. The fast, flexible and small packaging solutions have attracted customers such as Bahlsen, Dallmayr, Danone, Dr Oetker, Knorr, Kraft, Lindt & Sprüngli, Mars, Stollwerck, and Tchibo. The company has nearly doubled its turnover and staff numbers over the last couple of years and currently employs around 100 staff. PeopleMarkus Krepek structured the transaction on behalf of BayBG.
