
Mediobanca announces plans to open a German office
According to press reports, Mediobanca has confirmed plans to open an office in Germany. The company has recently unveiled plans to open a Paris office in April 2004. This move will represent the first division outside Italy for the investment bank and Marc Vincent, formerly head of Citigroup's French office, will manage the Paris operations. Initial plans have been outlined to hire ten investment bankers and launch operations in Paris once Vincent's gardening leave from Citigroup is over in a few weeks.
