Sixth annual unquote" DACH Private Equity Congress – Munich 11 October
We are delighted to announce our sixth annual Congress for private equity in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This one-day event on 11 October will bring together the region's deal doers at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich.
To reflect the issues most pertinent to today, the Congress will largely focus on fundraising – the first post-crisis cycle. Last week unquote" hosted an event in London during which three GPs – all having successfully closed funds in the last 12 months – agreed the market is even more difficult now than a year ago. It means communication with LPs is now more crucial than ever. We have a panel with local, recently closed fundraisers to share their experiences.
It's no longer as simple as wooing LPs, though. There is now an increasingly high wave of regulation hitting Europe: AIFMD, Basel III, Solvency II, IORPD. At last week's event, EVCA's Dörte Höppner said that 75% of existing LPs will be affected by it! The DACH Congress will hear from legal experts as well as LPs on this matter.
The day will of course include plenty of other debates and networking opportunities with the industry's key players – organisations already registered to attend include Pantheon, AlpInvest, SJBerwin, Swiss Re and WEGA Support. With only two weeks left to go, time and seats are running out – click here to find out how you can register for the summit. Limited free passes are also available for LPs and funds-of-funds.
