Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH

Gerald Oertel has joined Frankfurt-based Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH from ABN AMRO Capital. Oertel graduated in business administration from Wuerzberg University after completing two years’ training at Dresdner Bank. He started his professional career at Commerzbank, where he worked for five years in the area of project finance and acquisition finance both in Frankfurt and New York. In 1998 he moved to ABN AMRO Capital in Frankfurt as senior investment manager (private equity) covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. While at ABN AMRO Capital he was involved in growth capital and buyouts deals including, most recently, the buyout of The Regia Group, the Swiss printing and packaging firm.
