Techno Venture Management - Dr Axel Polack

Techno Venture Management (TVM) has promoted Dr Axel Polack to venture partner with effect from 1 July 2003. Previously he was a principal at TVM's Munich-based life science team. Polack works with deal makers in the assessment of new deal opportunities and the support of portfolio companies. His main scientific fields of expertise are molecular and viral oncology, gene regulation as well as immunology and molecular medicine in general. He joined TVM in 2000.

In Boston TVM has promoted David E Poltack to general partner. He was previously a principle in the Boston-based finance team. Poltack joined TVM in September 2000 after more than six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston.
