SCM Strategic Capital
Suen Yan Leung has joined SCM Strategic Capital Management AG as a senior analyst in the firm's due diligence department. He will be responsible for the due diligence and the negotiation of client investments in private equity and real estate programs. In addition, he is also involved in the firm's research efforts and analysis. Leung has more than 15 years of professional experience and started his career in 1990 as an analyst with a global investment bank. Since 1992, he has focused on M&A and private equity activities. At first he worked for Interfinanz GmbH, where he advised and arranged small- to mid-market buyout transactions involving private equity investors and strategic buyers. Afterwards, as an investment banker, he was responsible for due diligence and contract negotiation projects for M&A with NatWest Markets. In 1998, he began to specialize on advising fund-of-funds and direct private equity investments in all stages and sectors. Prior to joining SCM, Suen Yan Leung was senior investment manager with AXA Private Equity, a global fund-of-funds provider and direct investment firm, where he was responsible for dealflow and due diligence, as well as monitoring both primary and secondary investments.
