Capvent AG announces expansion into Asia
Specialist private equity fund-of-funds adviser Capvent AG has announced that it is establishing its operations in Asia with a fully staffed office in India. The new office is a continuation of the firms core investment strategy to focus on delivering performance to its customers by investing in areas ahead of the curve, through focused products where it sees an attractive potential for premium returns. The group's activities will not only include fund investments and helping to create new private equity groups, but also co-investing with them. The firm believes this opportunity is driven by fundamental changes in India where growth is expected to be rapid and the need for private equity acute as the country moves towards a greater role in the world economy.
