The Carlyle Group - Dr Ulrich Schumacher
The Carlyle Group has announced that Dr Ulrich Schumacher, the president and chief operating officer of semiconductor firm Infineon Technologies, will join its venture capital fund's - Carlyle Europe Venture Partners - advisory board. Schumacher established Infineon in 1999 as a spin-off from Siemens AG and led the firm onto a successful initial public offering in 2000. Previously he was president and chief operating officer of Siemens semiconductor division.
