Siemens Mobile Acceleration enters Austria

Siemens Mobile Acceleration (smac), in cooperation with Siemens AG Austria, has announced plans to set up an office in Vienna. smac will offer seed funding of up to EUR 1m to mobile communication projects. In addition Siemens Austria will offer technical know-how, marketing and distribution channels. The funding will be offered to local University spin-offs, Siemens employees, customers and other mobile start-ups.
