Adveq launches third fund-of-funds
Fund-of-funds investment manager Adveq has announced the successful launch of its third fund-of-funds investment program, Private Equity Opportunities Partners (PEOP). The PEOP investment program has been created to complement Adveq's core investment philosophy of focusing on investments in top-tier private equity funds, while also seeking to exploit the emergence of special investment opportunities. The program's first fund, PEOP I, will invest in private equity limited partnerships in the US which pursue special and unique investment strategies outside the traditional private equity sectors. The fund has been placed with existing Adveq investors and has reached $130m. PEOP I will be invested with 15 to 20 fund managers and has completed two investments to date. Furthermore, Adveq is now raising funds for PEEUP III, the third fund in the European series. PEEUP III will invest in a broad cross-section of Europe's leading private equity funds covering venture capital and buyouts of all sizes.
