
Astorg hires Permira's Einsfeld to head new Frankfurt office
Astorg Partners has hired Permira's Niklas Einsfeld as partner to head its newly opened German office in Frankfurt.
The GP simultaneously announced the hiring of Thibault Veber from Nomura and the promotion of François de Mitry to managing partner in its London office.
Einsfeld was previously managing director at private equity firm Permira, which he joined in 2007 and subsequently became director.
Astorg said the hires will strengthen its development in the European market and, in particular, Germany. The GP is headquartered in Paris and is most active in France but has also made investments in the UK, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Italy, according to unquote" data.
