Swiss crypto bank SEBA raises CHF 100m
SEBA Cyrpto, a Swiss cryptocurrency bank, has raised CHF 100m from a group of investors including Black River Asset Management and Summer Capital.
A number of institutional and private investors took part in the funding round, SEBA said. The bank was created by former UBS bankers, and intends to become the region's first regulated cryptocurrency investment bank. It is in the process of applying for a banking and securities dealer licence from FINMA, the Swiss regulator.
Summer Capital is an Asian investment management company and recently acquired Swiss Education Group from Invision Private Equity, which it plans to expand into Asia.
