Goodwin hires Latham & Watkins' Klenk

Law firm Goodwin has hired Gregor Klenk as a partner in its Frankfurt office.
Klenk will bring his experience in M&A, private equity, growth equity, venture capital and corporate law to his new role as partner. Klenk has expertise in cross-border transactions involving US- and France-based clients and targets.
Klenk joins Goodwin from Latham & Watkins, where he was a partner in the corporate department. In his tenure at the firm, he advised on deals such as the acquisition of KBC Bank Deutschland by Apollo Global Management, Luxor Capital's venture capital investment in Delivery Hero, and Hellman & Friedman's €2bn acquisition of Scout24.
Goodwin has also announced the appointment of private equity partner Joshua Soszynski in its New York office.
Goodwin's Frankfurt office opened in 2016 with four partners. Today, the office has nearly 30 lawyers across the private equity, real estate and tax practices.
