Lincoln International appoints two managing directors
Lincoln International has announced the appointment of Christian Schwarzmueller as managing director and head of its DACH chemicals team, as well as the addition of Florus Plantenga as managing director in London.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Plantenga spent 12 years as managing director in Houlihan Lokey's financial sponsors group, working with sponsors in the UK and Benelux, as well as other European countries. He also has experience as a director at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking within its Egret Capital CLO and financial sponsors division. Plantenga was also previously a vice-president at both Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan.
Schwarzmueller's appointment aims to strengthen Lincoln's relationships with chemicals companies in the DACH region and beyond, according to a statement, as well as bolster the firm's M&A and deals sourcing activities in the industrials sector. Prior to joining Lincoln, Schwarzmueller worked for Barclays in the group's M&A coverage team, focusing on relationship management with chemicals corporates. Schwarzmueller was also previously part of Lazard's M&A and restructuring teams.
