
DBAG announces Q1 NAV value increase
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) has announced that the NAV of its private equity investments increased to €437.3m in Q1 2021, marking a 3.6% growth compared with the beginning of its previous financial year.
The quarterly results apply for the first quarter of the GP's 2020/2021 financial year. It expects to publish its half-year results in May 2021.
The GP's fund investment services segment generated earnings of €4.8m before taxes as of 31 December 2020, compared with €1.7m in the same period in the previous year.
DBAG said in the same statement that the majority of its portfolio companies expect to see significantly improved performance this year compared with the previous year. The GP also said its assets under management now amount to €2.5bn, compared with €1.7bn one year ago.
The firm has completed one new MBO, as well as six add-on acquisitions. DBAG Fund VII portfolio company Blikk is to spin out its nephrology unit, Operasan, which the GP intends to develop as a standalone investment via a buy-and-build strategy.
