
A&M makes two transaction advisory hires in Germany
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has announced the appointment of Hinrich Grunwaldt as managing director and Andreas Frisch as senior director in its Hamburg and Frankfurt-based transaction advisory group, respectively.
Grunwaldt has more than 16 years’ industry experience in Germany and the UK. He joins from his role as partner at EY, where he advised on deals including IK Partners’ sale of quartz composite kitchen sinks producer Shock to Triton, according to Unquote sister publication Mergermarket.
Frisch has more than 15 years’ experience in M&A roles in Germany and France. He joins from his role as a director at Deloitte, prior to which he spent more than a decade with EY.
The new hires are part of the firm’s strategic growth plans and will further its cross-border financial due diligence support offering, A&M said in a statement.
