Schoenherr hires former UBS chair Kurer
Central European law firm Schoenherr has hired former UBS chair Peter Kurer.
He will be joining the firm's Strategy Committee as an external member.
The former UBS chairman will hold a full vote in the four-member committee. The committee is responsible for the company's strategy and business plan, its annual budget and the partners' profit share.
Peter Kurer started his career at Baker & McKenzie before moving to Swiss firm Homburger. In 2001 he was hired as General Counsel at UBS. He then joined the Group Executive Board and was chairman between 2008 and 2009.
