
Akina promotes Ralf Gleisberg to partner

Zurich-based investment adviser Akina has promoted former principal Ralf Gleisberg to partner.
Gleisberg has more than 15 years' experience in the financial industry, with a focus on private equity and corporate finance. He joined Akina in 2005, becoming principal in 2011.
He advises on fund investments in France, Benelux and the Nordic region, defining strategies and managing relationships for those countries. He sits on several advisory boards and has been involved in portfolio monitoring for Akina-advised investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Akina, Gleisberg worked at Lombard Odier Group in Zurich and Paris, spending four years in the corporate finance team from 2001 to 2005. He gained experience in various types of transactions, such as capital increases, restructurings and public tender offers. Between 1993 and 1996 he worked at Dresdner Bank, based in Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Hong Kong.
