N+1 launches investment banking activity in Germany
The N+1 group, which includes Spanish GP N+1, has teamed up with German professionals to launch M&A and debt advisory services in the local mid-market.
The new office will be based in Frankfurt and service mid-market family-owned firms, mid-cap corporates and institutional investors.
The team will comprise 10 professionals and will be led by Wolfram Schmerl as head of M&A advisory, while Robert von Finckenstein will head up the debt advisory and restructuring division. Both had been working for the corporate finance division of Hauck & Aufhäuser for the last three years.
N+1 Group is already present in Frankfurt in a real estate investment and management advisory capacity, operating in partnership with ConrenLand under the name PlusAlpina.
In 2012, the investment banking division of N+1 Group closed 78 transactions in the UK, Spain, Italy, France and Turkey.
