Reed Smith hires Binder from SJ Berwin

Binder joins Reed Smith from SJ Berwin, where he spent 12 years after co-founding its Munich office in 2000. He was educated at the universities of Freiburg and Munich and holds a Dr Jur degree. Binder is also a member of EVCA and its German counterpart BVK.

Reports suggest the hire is part of a European expansion, targeting Munich for its concentration of technology and media companies.
