Acton appoints two managing partners
German private equity house Acton Capital Partners has appointed Fritz Oidtmann and Sebastian Wossagk (pictured) as managing partners.
Both joined fellow managing partners Paul-Bernhard Kallen, Jan-Gisbert Schultze, Christoph Braun and Frank Seehaus in the growth capital firm's Munich office.
Previously, Oidtmann managed the Burda Consumer Tech Group, which includes electronics retailers Cyberport and computeruniverse, as well as media companies Chip and Chip Online.
In 1999, Oidtmann co-founded online portal OnVista, where he was member of the board for seven years. Prior to this, Oidtmann worked for McKinsey & Company for 12 years.
Wossagk also started his career at McKinsey in 1997. He has been with Acton since inception in 2008. He currently manages the investments in Alphasights, FashionForHome, Frontlineshop, KupiVIP and Linas Matkasse.
Prior to joining Acton, Wossagk had been working as an investment director for Siemens Venture Capital and Siemens Mobile Acceleration since 2001, with an early-stage investment focus in the telecommunications sector.
