Partners Group completes secondary share offering
Partners Group has successfully sold an additional 3,350,001 shares at CHF 183 per share on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The offering was twice oversubscribed. The offering includes an option for coordinator Morgan Stanley to buy another 167,499 shares to cover over-allotments. Morgan Stanley also acted as joint bookrunner with Credit Suisse and UBS.
Partners Group's founding partners Marcel Erni, Alfred Gantner and Urs Wietlisbach will put at least CHF 300m of the proceeds from the offering towards direct investment initiatives. These will be completed alongside the firm's clients.
If Morgan Stanley's option is fully exercised, Erni, Gantner and Wietlisbach will hold more than 10% of the company's share capital. Settlement will take place on 14 November.
Partners Group is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, trading under the ticker symbol PGHN. It has a market cap of CHF 5bn.
