
Gain Capital promotes new CEO
Austrian funds-of-funds manager Gain Capital has promoted Andrea Hofer from managing director and partner to CEO.
Hofer took over the role on 1 January, having been appointed managing director in May last year.
Prior to joining Gain in 2007, she was finance and investor relations manager of a listed airline. Hofer has 15 years' experience in the private equity industry, having been an investment manager at both Mezzanin Finanzierung and 3i Austria.
Gain Capital has a stake in more than 200 private equity funds in Europe. It has around €150m in assets under management, mostly on behalf of Austrian institutional investors.
