
Siemens Venture Capital invests in RTT
Siemens Venture Capital has backed the capital increase of publicly-listed 3D visualisation solutions provider Realtime Technology AG (RTT).
The fresh capital will be used to develop extensive process solutions and expand the products into other market segments.
RTT has received private equity backing previously, with Balderton Capital investing €7m in December 2007.
Headquartered in Munich, the company was founded in 1999 and currently employs more than 400 staff. RTT is a worldwide supplier of 3D realtime visualisation technologies and services for industrial applications in the automotive, aircraft and consumer goods industries. Since 1999, RTT has reported continuous double digit annual growth rates.
