Asgard Capital launches in Berlin
Former Point Nine Capital investor Fabian Westerheide has established a new venture capital house, Asgard Capital.
The VC's first fund has yet to close, but Asgard intends to invest initially on an evergreen fund basis. Seed investments will range from €50,000-250,000, with follow-on financing of up to €2m available.
Westerheide is said to have departed internet portals specialist Point Nine to focus on start-ups involving digital hardware. The firm is looking for investment opportunities in the fields of internet-of-things, drones, virtual reality, advanced robotics and artificial intelligence.
