High-Tech Gründerfonds has backed a first institutional round of finance for start-up 6 Wunderkinder with an investment of €500,000.
The investment follows by a €100,000 round of funding from business angels. The capital will be used to implement the technology behind the company's 'wunderkit' platform, a working and productivity platform connecting companies and freelancers for efficient group work.
Berlin-based 6 Wunderkinder was launched by six people interested in interface design and web development. The company's earlier development, 'wunderlist', a free task manager for Windows, Mac and iPhone was downloaded 180,000 times in its first seven weeks.
