
Clifford Chance promotes Dieners
Clifford Chance has promoted Germany partner Peter Dieners to managing partner of the German practice.
Dieners succeeds Andreas Dietzel, whose four-year term expires at the end of August. He was promoted to head of corporate advisory in Germany in November last year.
Dieners specialises in healthcare-related regulations, healthcare fraud and abuse prevention, compliance and healthcare-related commercial and corporate transactions. He joined Clifford Chance in 1994 and was promoted to partner at the firm's Düsseldorf office in 1997.
In 2012, he advised Montagu Private Equity on the sale of BSN Medical to EQT's sixth fund for €1.82bn.
Oliver Felsenstein succeeds Dieners as head of corporate advisory in Germany. He has been a partner at the company since 2006. Ulrich Reese takes over from Dieners' successor Joachim Schütze as Düsseldorf office head on 1st September 2014.
