Steadfast Capital buys proFagus
Steadfast Capital has acquired charcoal derivatives producer proFagus GmbH from a group of private investors for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 1895 and based in Bodenfelde, proFagus produces more than 25,000 tons of charcoal, briquettes and industrial derivatives a year. Only pure beech wood from the local lumber industry and forestry is used as raw material.
