KKR and Permira sell further shares in ProSiebenSat.1
KKR and Permira have sold another stake in German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, reducing their joint share to 33%.
KKR and Permira have sold an 11% stake, said to be worth around €760m, equating to 25 million ProSiebenSat shares. The shares were priced at €30.67 a share.
The two private equity houses previously owned 44% after selling off a €485m stake in the business on the Frankfurt stock exchange in February this year.
The GPs are said to have been looking for a potential buyer for the remaining shares, unsuccessfully so far. They are now aiming to divest the firm progressively, selling off several stakes over the next months.
Permira was not available for comment.
