Ventizz exits Medos Medizintechnik
Private equity firm Ventizz Capital Partners has sold its 100% stake in German medical equipment provider Medos Medizintechnik AG to venture firm Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn GmbH & Co KG.
Medos has already worked closely with Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn's portfolio company Novalung.
Just before the exit, Medos sold perfusion outsourcing specialist Life Systems Medizintechnik-Service GmbH to US-based SpecialtyCare Cardiovascular Resources Inc.
Founded in 1984, Stollberg-based Medos is a provider of open heart surgery products.
Ventizz acquired Medos in 2006 for an undisclosed amount.
