Björn Böckenförde to leave Zurmont Madison

Björn Böckenförde, the founding partner and CFO of Zurmont Madison, has announced his upcoming departure from the company.
Böckenförde will step down in December this year. He co-founded Madison Private Equity in 2001 and Zurmont Madison Private Equity in 2006, and also acts as chapter head of private equity on the board of the Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association.
He started his career at Arthur D Little in Wiesbaden, where he worked from 1989-1993, and spent the next four years with management consultant The Forefront Group in Stockholm.
From 1997-1999, Böckenförde headed the controlling department of the Bally Group as executive board member, before taking over as CFO of Big Star Holding in Allschwil in July 1999 for one and a half years.
Zurmont Madison, together with co-investors, acquired a majority stake in Swiss technology company Schaetti Holding in May 2013.
It also bought electronic manufacturing services provider CCS Holding in April 2011. The company has since acquired competitor Adaxys in June 2011 and Gohlke Elektronik in January 2012.
