HTGF et al. back SAW Instruments
HTGF, KfW and KI Kapital have invested €1m in SAW Instruments in a second round of financing.
The capital will be used to expand sales and marketing activities and extend the firm's product portfolio. SAW Instruments is planning to expand in Central Europe and enter the US market.
SAW Instruments is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of surface acoustic wave-based analytical systems for the life science market, used by research institutions in Germany and Switzerland. The company's samX product will be launched in September 2011.
