
NorthStar backs Recite Me
NorthStar Equity Investors Ltd has invested £100,000 from its Proof of Concept Fund into Recite Me Ltd.
Recite me has developed software which helps dyslexic and visually-impaired people to access the internet by providing more legible fonts, heightened colour contrast or text-to-speech conversion. The software can be used on any appliance with internet access such as PDA, smartphone or tablet computer without installing software.
The capital will be used for commercialisation of the product and further development of consumer offerings such as compatibility with popular devices like the iPad. Search engines such as Google have already expressed interest in the product.
