
Barclays Private Equity exits Siteco
Barclays Private Equity has sold Siteco Lighting GmbH to Osram, a subsidiary of the Siemens Group, for an undisclosed amount.
Siteco Lighting GmbH is based in Traunreut, Germany, and provides lighting systems for public and commercial buildings and street lighting, as well as lighting for tunnels, airports and sports stadiums.
The company employs about 1,250 members of staff and had a turnover of €220m in 2010. Siteco has production sites in Germany and China.
