
BayBG backs barbecues retailer Activa Grillküche
BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft has acquired a minority stake in German barbecue producer Activa Grillküche.
The GP provided a mezzanine loan to Activa after it was approached by the business. BayBG said Activa will use the capital to further expand in the DACH region.
In March, BayBG invested in Arzberg-based business Purus Plastics for a minority stake.
Company
Founded in 2002 and based in Selb, Activa produces and sells coal- and gas-fired barbecues. The business also distributes barbecue accessories, patio heaters, smokers and fireplaces.
