TGFS and Madsack Mediengruppe in €2m series-A for Dipat
Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and Madsack Mediengruppe have invested €2m in a series-A funding round for digital living will service Dipat.
The VCs will take a minority stake for their investment in the company. According to a statement, they chose to back the business as a strong example of the digitalisation of medicine and communication.
The company will use the fresh capital to expand its services across Germany. It will also be moving offices from Berlin to Leipzig.

Founded in 2015 by medical doctor Paul Brandenburg, Dipat offers a digital living will service for use by patients and doctors in emergency situations. The reports contain all medical information and patient wishes regarding a variety of procedures and situations as well as emergency contact details. The service is priced at €48 per year.
