
ZFHN exits Dataglobal in MBO
German PE house Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn has sold its stake in information management service provider Dataglobal to the company’s management.
The management buyout is being led by CEO and founder Wolfgang Munz. Dataglobal was one of the first investments made by ZFHN in 2008. In this time-frame, turnover and headcount have increased tenfold to reach €6m and 60 people respectively, according to the GP.
Details of the deal have not been disclosed, however according to a press release this is the third successful exit for ZFHN in the past 12 months.
Previous funding
ZFHN acquired dataglobal in 2008 and moved the company to Heilbronn shortly afterwards, where it has a network to support young companies.

Dataglobal was founded in 1992 and provides data management and archiving services to large companies such as Audi, Rhenus logistics and T-Systems. It is headquartered in Heilbronn with two other offices in Boston and Cluj-Napoca. It has undertaken 500 projects in 40 different countries and currently employs more than 60 people.
