Finlab and Coparion back Fastbill
VC firms Finlab and Coparion have combined to provide financial management software service Fastbill with a seven-digit funding round.
The extra capital will be used to support the company's growth by expanding the financial platform, as it was previously operating on a minimal budget. Co-founder Rene Maudrich described the approach used until now as "bootstrapping" in a statement.
Finlab focuses specifically on the financial services technology sector with a particular emphasis on developing German fintech startups.
Company
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Offenbach am Main, Fastbill is a web-based finance management system for small businesses. Through the platform, customers can manage financial documents and data and send to third-party service providers such as tax advisers. The company currently employs 32 people.
