
VR Equity-backed Ostertag acquires Euromicron Deutschland
IT and telecommunications service Ostertag, backed by VR Equitypartner, has acquired Euromicron Deutschland's telecommunications division.
Communications and information technology provider Ostertag received €12m of funding in June 2016 from VR, which secured a minority stake in the company.
Ostertag will take over the operation of Euromicron Deutschland's telecommunications division, including all customer relationships, contracts of employment and storage and logistics activities.
Around 70 employees at eight locations will be transferred to Ostertag.

Formerly known as Berliner Elektro-Technik, Euromicron Deutschland is a network and fibre-optics technology provider. The company is headquartered in Neu-Isenburg and was founded in 1994, employing approximately 630 people.
