Auctus backed-Fernao Networks buys VonRoll Itec
Auctus Private Equity portfolio company Fernao Networks has backed the management buyout of VonRoll Itec, the IT subsidiary of VonRoll Infratec Group.
CEO Martin Vogt and COO Vanja Rohr will acquire a significant stake in the company, which will now operate as part of Fernao Networks.
The new structure will allow VonRoll Itec to pursue a strategy of digitalisation and international expansion.
Auctus started its IT services buy-and-build strategy with the acquisition of Magellan Netzwerke in March 2016. Then in June it bought Recklinghaus-based Computer Stamm, which employs 52 people and focuses on installing IT systems.
The new group employed 150 people and had a turnover of €50m at the time of the Computer Stamm acquisition. Its staff has since grown to 180 and will gain an extra 50 with the acquisition of VonRoll Itec.
Company
VonRoll Itec was founded in 2002 as the IT department of VonRoll Management. It is based in Gerlafingen and Zurich, and provides ICT services to mid- to large-sized international companies. It currently employs around 50 people.
